Enhancing Solid Waste Management in Yemen 

GPRBA, through the Second Additional Financing to the Yemen Integrated Urban Services Emergency Project II (YIUSEP II), has allocated a grant of $6.6 million to three Yemeni cities: Sana’a, Aden, and Al Mukalla, targeting 1.9 million people. The grant has leveraged an additional $19.5 million from the International Development Association (IDA), enabling the acquisition of necessary machinery and equipment for CCIFs. The GPRBA grant, as part of the YIUSEP II Additional Financing package, has been declared effective.

ZAMBIA: Electricity Service Access Project  

The objective of the Electricity Service Access Project is to increase electricity access in Zambia's targeted rural areas. There are three components to the project, the first component being on-grid electricity access expansion. The second component is the off-grid electricity access expansion. Finally, the third component is the capacity building and project implementation support.

Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project

The purpose of the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project is to improve the quality of education in low performing basic education schools and strengthen education sector equity and accountability in Ghana. This project has four components. Component (1): Strengthen teaching and learning through support and resources for teachers. Component (2): Strengthen school support, management and resourcing.  Component (3): Strengthen accountability systems for learning. Component (4): Technical assistance, institutional strengthening, monitoring, and research.
