Overview
This activity had two phases: .
Phase 1 – Assessment of OBA in fragile states – with summary of experience, including the factors for success/failures, and remedy actions, and recommendations for designing OBA programs in fragile states.
Phase 2 – Project Identification – early leads for the project pipeline.
Status
Closed.
The Phase 1 report was submitted and reviewed by GPOBA and OBA peer reviewers. The report was to be published in the first half of 2014 and launched at a “Brown Bag Lunch” for the OBA Community of Practice and the FSC Community of Practice. Also, conclusions of the report were embedded into the core training on fragility for the World Bank operational staff.
During the discussions of the Phase 1 report, it was agreed that Phase 2 should be done either by GPOBA staff or with the engagement of a consultant in a separate project, given that the identification of leads for the pipeline required more operational experience.
